I'm Indian candidate looking to apply for Bschools. Here is my profile
BTech-NIT (Top 20 engineering institute in India) - 8.6/10 (CGPA)
Nationality - Indian
Age - 27
Work experience - After finishing BTech, worked in Data science,analytics and consulting domain for 5 years
in Banking (Barclays), Healthcare (United Health group) and manfacturing (Samvardhana Motherson Group) comapany.
Tried GMAT got 590, now preparing to get score above 740.
Total work ex - 5 years as of today
EC:
Playing Guitar, College level Cricket and TT player
I would appreciate if you can help me what GMAT score should i target for following schools and what are my chances for these school:-
1. London Business School
2. Kellogg School of Management
3. INSEAD
4. Rotman School of Management
5. HEC Paris
6. NTU Singapore
Also, I am thinking to take GRE this time. Can you please share your views on that?

Generally speaking, as an Indian candidate, you'll want to score around a 730 on the GMAT for most of these schools. That's not to say you cannot get in with a score below 730, but you are coming from a competitive demographic. Doing that well on the GMAT takes some of the pressure off of other elements on your profile to be as good.
I am glad that you are targeting a 740, but a jump from a 590 is quite a tall order. How much time are you dedicating to studying? When are you taking the exam? Do you feel you can reasonably achieve a 740, give or take, or is that a stretch goal?
The GRE is a nice alternative. The math isn't nearly as difficult but the verbal/English portion is much more difficult, generally speaking. The focus is heavy on English vocabulary. Is that a strength for you? Why not take a diagnostic exam and see how you feel about the style of the exam?
This post is definitely a good start, but it's hard to make a full assessment as to your chances just based on this description alone. Why don't you reach out to us for a free consultation?
