2) Educational Background: undergrad: Hamilton college, NY GPA: 3.3 Econ Major and Government minor, Study abroad at Oxford University UK, GAP 4.0, GMAT score 650
3) Work experience: promoted from consultant to Investment policy analyst at the International finance corporation (2 years) consulting/development/finance sector. helped father start a consulting business recently, worked briefly in rural microinsurance earlier and did 2 internships at Merrill Lynch prior to that
4) Extracurricular: Radio show host and producer, started peer mentoring and support group for critical kidney patients, karate, teach self defense to underprivileged women, coordinate relief efforts in Bangladesh during flood season
5) Short/Long term goals: what do you want to do after your MBA? Any geographic preferences? work with leading consulting house and US to gain valuable experience and knowledge which i can bring back to Bangladesh to manage and expand father's consulting business

You have a solid background, but face a few specific challenges to get into the schools that you listed.
I have feedback about your 'why b-school' story. When you talk about transferring skills to your father's consulting business, I have a few concerns. Does your father do management consulting or some other kind of consulting (IT consulting, HR consulting, etc)? B-school is great for helping you get into management consulting, but not so much with the other kinds of consulting. How big is your father's consulting business? If it has less than a hundred employees, I am skeptical that you can really transfer management skills that you learn from one of the huge management consulting companies since they have tens of thousands of employees and operate in a certain way due to their size. If it is your father who needs to understand how to be a better consultant, then he should be the one going to b-school, not you. Perhaps if you explain specifically that you will return as a consulting partner in your father's business it would be more reasonable. If you have great answers to these questions, you should consider including them in your essays. If they aren't great answers, perhaps you should rethink this.
With an econ background (= good at math), and coming from a somewhat-English-speaking country (= no excuse to be bad at English), I would expect you to have a higher GMAT to get into your target schools. Definitely retake the GMAT.
