95.6 % in my 12th was in top 1% in my country
10 cgpa in 10 th
Work experience (1 year till date):
Software engineer at amex
Bachelors:
B.Tech IT
CGPA: 8.47/10 (relative grading), graduated in 2021
Summer internship in amex
ECs:
- student placement coordinator
- cultural fest head and co-head
GMAT:
750
(V: 47 | Q: 51 | IR: 5 | AWA: 3)
My AWA Score is bothering me a little . I was wondering that as I yet have to give my toefl provided I am able to score good in that would it coverup for my bad score .
I am aiming to do my mba in 2023 -24 fall what all can I improve in my profile by then
(I'm targeting Usa top 30 programs with a decent scholarship primarily as I would like to work there post MBA, with Canada as a backup; I'm open to uk as well)

The GMAT score is fine. I would not worry about the AWA, especially if you write well-articulated essays. If you feel you can replicate the score (or even do better), you can sit again for the GMAT. You won't be at a disadvantage since you already have a 750 locked in. The schools on your list will consider your highest score.
If you want to land in the US top 30, you need to improve your extracurricular activities. You have time, but really need to get more involved either with those existing activities or new ones. That's going to be important for someone with your profile.
You also have little work experience. You'll have another couple of years or so by the time you apply but you really do need to make sure you're having an impact and gaining good responsibilities along the way. That's going to pivotal for your CV and your letters of recommendation.

We also offer something called the Advanced Planning Program, which is a mini-mentorship arrangement where you can talk with one of our consultants and plan out the next couple of years. Many of our APP clients end up getting into top schools (with scholarship) years after they worked with us!
