Hello de2ja3, thanks for your question.
Your GPA is solid. Your overall GMAT is a bit low for the top echelon schools, and your quantitative score is slightly low (80% is the usual threshold for top programs). I don’t think your GMAT is an insurmountable obstacle though.
I think your competitiveness will come down to the quality of your leadership experience in and out of work, and how compelling your overall “story” is.
Regarding the former, can you speak to times where you’ve truly led: influenced people and organizations, driven results, taken initiative? Your extracurricular activities appear to be an area where you can differentiate yourself, especially the presidential campaign, especially if you use it as a vehicle call out your leadership capacity.
Regarding your overall “story,” you haven’t mentioned post-MBA goals. You will need to tie together your past and current experience with your future career goals. There should be a cohesive link between system management at FMCG companies to where you want to go post-MBA. And, how does an MBA fit into the story? Why do you need business school? The more compelling this story, this more persuasive your case will be.
Depending on how well you can call out your leadership capability and paint a compelling career path, I think you could give all of those schools a shot. The GMAT makes them a bit more of reaches, so you might consider adding some safer choices to your list just in case.
Best of luck,
Brian
