Hello and thanks for your post.
The application process is truly holistic, and committees will look at your work experience, extracurriculars, and stats (GPA and GMAT).
Your work experience will be the strength of your profile. The fact that you have multiple promotions and have been leading teams on your own shows leadership. I also like that you volunteered to lead an internal creative team and to host evening programs for your employees. In general, it is important to show you have made an impact in all of your roles, by mentioning quantitative or qualitative results. It will also be important to explain why you want your MBA, and to also illustrate the skills you already have which are transferable to your post-MBA target role. Be sure your story makes sense, and is realistic and specific.
Regarding extracurriculars, make sure to really emphasize your leadership roles you have taken on. Volunteering at an NGO certainly sounds impressive; that is one aspect of your profile on which you can elaborate.
Unfortunately, your GPA and GMAT score are below average at the schools you listed, and at most strong business schools. You will need to illustrate to the schools that you have the academic ability to succeed in the classroom. You could showcase your quant ability in your resume, your recommenders could do the same in their recommendations, and you could also take a supplemental course or two such as stats or calculus. I would suggest this.
In general, I think you have a solid chance of admission at a school where your GMAT score of 610 is not too far below that school’s average, assuming you can execute the rest of your application well. So continue to research those types of schools. One US school that comes to mind is Babson, where the average score is around your score.
Best of luck to you!
