Hi,
I need help in getting my profile evaluated and getting answers to some questions regarding admission into colleges in Canada.
Demo:
M/29/Indian (Holding Canadian PR)
Academics:
B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 2009. CG: 6.97/10
GMAT:
Not yet attempted. What should be the target score based on profile and college?
Work Experience: Total 8 years of experience
Latest experience at a Super App startup where I was the Head of Product Operations and Experience, in Vietnam (for 2 years).
Short stint in Canada for 3 months as E-commerce Manager.
Prior to that, I have diverse experience in city Operations, BD, Marketing and Sales in India in various startups and organizations. Co-managed my family business with my father for 1 year. Also worked as a mathematics teacher for 6 months.
In majority of the companies, I have been promoted within a year of employment.
Extra Curricular:
Worked with an NGO during my stint at Uber to train women drivers for free and provide a livelihood.
Student motivation lectures and career advice to 10th-12th class students after JEE success story.
NCC cadet for 2 years and holder of B certificate.
Core Organizing Committee member for SpringFest (Cultural Festival) for 1 year.
1st Prize in National Level Technical event for ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers).
Part of many robotics workshops and robotics club at the college.
Post MBA goals:
1. Grow internally in organizations and reach C-suite level to drive not only work goals but also culture within companies.
2. As a second priority, take up Product Management in tech based startups/ organizations, using prior experience to my advantage.
Target School:
1. HEC Montreal [Full time MBA] [Sept. 2022 intake]
Questions (Apart from profile evaluation):
1. What other schools in Canada could be targeted for MBA, with/ without scholarship for domestic students (as PR holder)?
2. What should be the target GMAT score for HEC Montreal with this profile and for other recommended colleges?
Thanks.
