I'm a MSc Biochemistry graduate and have 3 years of experience in clinical data management and now I want to see myself in leadership role and help industries in product development, business strategies, will it be worth doing MBA? Or it's better to continue with my job? Tell me the all worst case scenarios.

Hi  Loanwolf ,

A very philosophical question! Of late there is a lot of chatter around the "value" of an MBA. Here are my 2 cents - an MBA from a good institute is a blessing in the long run. If you are looking at a "money in - money out" transaction, an MBA may or may not help. Look at an MBA as a conduit to build perspectives, network, and derive inspiration from faculty & peers. Given that you explicitly asked about the worst-case scenario, here it is - "You graduate without an offer in the first 90 days of convocation and are faced with a mountain of debt". I suggest that you introspect on your career & personal goals and think about your "why" really well.
