Was hoping for a profile review, I'm struggling because of my unique work experience and where I want to go post school. Thanks in advance!
Background
Work experience:
Extra curriculars: Volunteer Firefighter, Engineering ambassador at minority schools, volunteer through cancer survivor support network.
Undergrad school/major: Mechanical Engineering at top 20 engineering school (UT, Texas A&M)
Race/nationality: Hispanic, first generation (applying through Consortium)
Sex: Male
Stats
GMAT Score (including breakdown): 700 (47Q 40V)
Undergrad GPA: 3.4
MBA Info
Goal of MBA: After my MBA, I want to live in Texas, preferably Houston/Austin/Dallas in that order. Struggling to choose between one of these stories for my application, in reality I want to explore both options:
Reach schools: MIT, Yale, Dartmouth, Cornell
Target schools: Rice, UT
Main Concerns
Does this seem like a realistic plan in terms of story, school, and job placement?
What are the realistic odds of me getting a consortium fellowship?

Hi, and thanks for writing! I think your classification of reach and target schools makes sense. Regarding career goal, you'll want to pick one that you gravitate towards most and explain clearly your motivations behind it - schools will want to know not only what your ST and LT goals are but also, what drives them.
Based on your extracurriculars (in particular, your ambassadorship, as it is aligned with the Consortium mission) it sounds like you'd be a viable candidate for a scholarship. If you're able to boost your GMAT score, that would help given the competitiveness of the scholarship.
