- Management and Social Sciences from top SEA university. 3.1/4 GPA (roughly top 15% of the batch)
GMAT: 710 (48Q, 40V)
Work experience and leadership
- 3 years of experience by application submission, 4 years by matriculation
- 1 year by app. Product manager at a fintech unicorn
- 1 year. Product manager at a logistics unicorn
- 1 year. Sales at a startup
Community and others
- Part-time lecturer
- E-commerce entrepreneur (closed down)
- Pro-bono consultant at a global NGO
- VP for Consulting at university consulting organization for 2 years
- Winner and finalist in several case competitions in college
Post MBA goals
- Short-term: Product manager or strategy at an edtech firm

Thanks for posting your profile! Having grown up in SEA (Singapore) myself, I always enjoy meeting applicants from the region. Firstly, let me congratulate you on your achievements - not only your professional success at the largest fintech unicorn in SEA, but also your entrepreneurial spirit and community involvement. I also like your international experiences and your clearly defined career goals. These are all things that top business schools are looking for.
That said, your GMAT could be a concern for the Admissions Committee, as it is below the average at the most selective schools on your list. Since you have time before you submit your applications next fall, you might consider retaking it – even a 10-20 point boost will make your profile more competitive.
As you pull your apps together, be sure to describe what motivates you to be passionate about your career goals. Why EdTech? As well, don't hesitate to share your personal stories. If you can weave different facets of your career and life together compellingly in your essays, that would be the key to your application success.
