Hi
isrh22,
Thanks for reaching out to us. Overall I think you have the basics of a strong profile for deferred admit programs - STEM background, interest in business, excellent GPAs, and internship experience.
Do you have any extracurricular leadership / community service? That is a big component of successful deferred applications I've seen.
I also wonder about your choice of recommenders -- the Harvard ties are nice, but ultimately they want to hear from people who know you well, especially in a professional context.
I wouldn't worry too much about your GMAT score. It's strong and in range and usually GMAT is not a huge differentiator among the selective pool of deferred candidates. But if you have time (?) and can retake to raise your score, that can't hurt, but I'm guessing you have plenty of other application work to do!
Hope that helps,
Kate

Hi Everyone,
I'd like your advice and thoughts on my profile.
I am applying for deferred admissions programs. I will be reserving my spot for 2 years while I get work experience. I am from the US but my ethnicity is Indian. I am the only person in my family to have been born and brought up in the US. Here is some more information on my profile:
Undergrad: Ivy League (Majors - Neuroscience and Economics)
GPA: 3.7/4.0
Masters: Ivy League (1 year program in entrepreneurship)
GPA currently: 4.0/4.0
GMAT: 720 (49Q, 38V)
Target Schools: M7 and Yale, Darden, and Haas
Joining a top boutique consulting firm after my Masters ends in May.
I will be getting a recommendation letter from a professor from Harvard Medical School and from one of my current professors who went to Harvard Business School.
Currently I am finishing my masters, interning for an international food company, and filling out applications for B School.
I want to know what my chances are and mostly worried about GMAT score. Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll be sure to provide additional information.
Thank you!
