· Education (undergraduate institution, GPA, major - high school/entrance exams not needed): Maritime Academy (No Armed Services Commitment, but is regimented.... means we wore uniforms etc) 3.45 GPA, BS Supply Chain, Minor in Business Administration
· Other coursework or post-undergraduate education: None
· GMAT or GRE (include section breakdown): 730 Q49 V41
· Work experience (highlight amount of work experience, industries, roles, promotions, special accomplishments, international exposure): 5 years in Oil and Gas Major, 2 years in supply chain, 3 years in sales / business development. Work consistently with global teams. 3 promotions. Selected for a prestigious internal award. Currently 3 dotted line reports (I am considered team lead but we report up into the same manager)

Hi there,
Biggest question is timing-- are you thinking R1 fall 2020? or still R3 asap? For R1, especially with an even higher GMAT, I would think you could be considered at your school list, though may not be a bad idea to add another 1-2 safer options too if you are up for it (though of course only schools you would actually be happy attending). For Tuck you can opt in to the interview and go visit which is great and get to know the program and hopefully make a strong impression that way. Of course you can also visit any/all the programs this spring if feasible. It would be even better if you had a touch more leadership and more recent involvement, but at least you showed involvement during university which is a good indicator you'd likely be involved during the MBA also. Improving your GMAT even more would also be nice given that your GPA could be a bit higher, but that said it's still pretty solid. Finally it sounds like you've been out of university for 8+ years so given that you're a touch later in your career than the average applicant, you should make it clear why the MBA is right for you at this point in your career and show that you understand what the consulting role will entail and why you are aiming for that and what value the MBA will bring to your goals.
