Hi
studybuddy26,
Thank you for sharing your profile. I see some good elements in your profile that will help you build impactful stories. Talking about your stats, your undergrad GPA is good, and your GMAT score defines academic potential.
On the work front, your work experience looks good. You must prominently highlight your career progression in order to project the impression of a high-performing individual. You will need to demonstrate leadership skills when writing your apps. When listing your work or responsibilities, choose the most important one. Bring up your experiences in greater depth, demonstrating how working on various projects has helped you improve leadership skills and how you have taken care of things when things have gone wrong.
Your ECs are good as well! It is exhibiting the leadership skills you possess. It demonstrates your leadership abilities. You must discuss your involvement in the Down Syndrome Association and the impact the organisation has created. The committee's mission is to have as many perspectives and as much variety as possible in the class. You will need to diversify your profile. You can discuss your hobbies and interests. They have a wider view of the profile and values, which aids b-schools in deciding whether an applicant is a good match for b-school or not. Haas and Kellogg could be the perfect fit for you based on your post-MBA goals. You can also go for INSEAD. I would suggest you decide 2 reach, 2 target and 2 safety schools to help you balance, and we can help you finalise these based on your profile.
Overall you have a good profile. Make sure you specify how a particular b-school will help you fill the gaps in your profile in order to achieve your post-MBA goals. The most important thing about your application is how you link the dots and provide a compelling storey to differentiate yourself from the other candidates in the pool. You will need to start early and take a couple of months just to brainstorm. We have an
extensive content gathering process where we just spend hours brainstorming to set the story’s theme and narrative.
If you’d like, we are happy to hop on a call with you sometime this week to discuss your profile in length and gauge your fit for the b-schools. Feel free to
book a free session with us as per your convenience.
Also, since you're targeting US Schools, you may want to attend this
session. It will help you strategise your MBA applications better. The agenda of the session will be:
*Explain your plan
Leadership/Achievements
Contribution to the community
Why a specific School*
You can register for the same
here.
Cheers!
