Hi,
I plan to submit MBA applications for the upcoming round 2 and was hoping for some direction. Here's some information on my profile:
24 years old male from Denmark (Scandinavia)
Work experience
Financial services - largest insurance company in Scandinavia.
Progression: From Intern to Analyst to Associate in 2 years.
Have been part of large transformational strategy projects and deal team on large M&A transaction (8bn EUR)
Also experience from DK's largest Pension Fund as a student analyst in strategy team.
Additional international internship experience in China and India (no-name brands, but did it for international experience)
Education
Undergraduate from Copenhagen Business School (top 20 in Europe, top 1 in Denmark)
Studied International Business (top program in Denmark, highest entry requirements)
3.7 GPA (converted from ECTS Scale) - top 10% across Copenhagen Business School graduates my year
Test Scores
GMAT: V37 Q44 - 660
Additional information
• First-generation college student
• Volunteer experience from Red Cross
• Strong extracurricular (led student union, involved in case competitions, participated in other student organizations)
• Certification in financial modelling
• Studied Mandarin Chinese for 3 months in China and Taiwan alongside my undergrad
Post MBA Goal
Private Equity (either directly or IB / consulting first, but hope to eventually work in PE)

• MBA programs: MIT Sloan, Yale SOM, Booth
Could you please share your thoughts on my profile? Particularly interested in hearing your thoughts on how competitive my profile is for top MBA programs (given low GMAT) and what some safe schools might be?
