Hi there,
Thanks for posting and for the detailed profile info. Overall you have a strong profile in my opinion, but is it 'enough' to get into HBS/top 5 programs? That is a tough one and generally those programs are a bit of a stretch for most applicants, simply because there are so many OTHER extremely qualified, exceptional applicants out there, and seats are limited... often those who get accepted to the very top programs have a 'wow' factor, or something very unique, or at least are able to put together exceptionally compelling essays that convince the admissions committee that they have experiences and personal factors and goals that the school really should invite into their classroom, vs other well-qualified applicants.
In my view you've got the following going for you (strengths):
-strong GMAT
-solid academics including the Masters
-auto industry background will be somewhat less common overall
-demonstrated quant/analytical skills certainly
-I see your various types of teamwork skills as one of your biggest assets, so I encourage you to focus on those experiences: what you learned from them; how you've learned about leadership and working with others and teamwork; how you'll bring that to the b-school classroom and your future career (for example, when you talk about working with stakeholders & vendors; working across multi-functional teams; working as a design lead & design jury member; leading the management workshops; mentoring others, etc.).
-CSR initiatives (could have more or less impact based upon how involved you are, how much you can explain your interest and rationale in getting involved, etc)
Potential challenges & unknowns:
-not a major weakness but on a quick review compared with other competitive applicants, your community involvement and outside-of-work activities could be stronger
-your goals as written presently could be considered a bit weak or vague... while it's true that you may not know exactly what will happen post-b-school, and that many MBA students even change their mind during school... you want to show that you have enough of a solid reason to get the MBA; that you've researched your likely short and long term post-MBA goals and have at least a feel for what the path would look like and can therefore even further justify 'why the MBA'; that your goals are reasonable and realistic based on your past experiences and your research, etc.
-unknowns: essays/letters of rec/interview
So as for top 5 schools or top programs in general... I would say there's a possibility, but you should go into knowing it will be a challenge, so think strategically about applying to schools across a wider tier or ranking if possible for best chances. And don't underestimate the time it takes to put together a great application.... Many applicants apply to 3-4 schools max as each set of essays must be tailored to that school.
