Hey
0blom0v,
Before starting with your Profile Evaluation, the first step I’d suggest you take is that understand which program type (a more general or a more specialized master) helps you to achieve your career goals.
Now looking at the information you’ve provided in your profile I’d say that you should opt Master in Finance and maybe later on, after some years of professional experience, you can still consider doing an MBA if you need general management knowledge.
Now, as you have mentioned that you are targeting Top 15-20 EU universities, so, depending on the same here is my take on your profile for MiM & MFin:
I must say you’ve a decent profile.
Talking about your academics I’d say GPA is surely one of the strong highlights of your profile. Although you need to understand that the GMAT score plays a vital role in the admission process, especially when you’re targeting Top-B Schools, so make sure you get 720+ in GMAT.
Although, the work experience you’ve mentioned can be a bit of a roadblock for you If you choose MFin as it requires at least 1-2 years of relevant professional experience. On the other hand for MiM you can still go with 0-2 Years of work experience. To compensate for low work experience for MFin you can go for the CFA program.
You have a wide range of achievements from getting selected for a UEFA and FIFA to being a treasurer and active member of the worldwide known nonprofit organization to showcase in your profile. In fact, Colleges highly value Community development initiatives and leadership qualities in an applicant’s profile. Hence, you can use them as a strong differentiator in your profile to get an edge ahead of the other applicants.
Overall. You’ll have to understand that you will have a strong and intense competition with fellow applicants for both the degrees especially for Top 5 Colleges, with a major chunk of them having stellar profiles( High GPA, High GMAT, decent job experiences and extra-curricular) as well. So, make sure to choose the right degree according to your career goals and start with your application. Some of the schools you can target could be :
Dream: HEC, ESCP, ESSEC
Competitive: Imperial, Bocconi, IE
Safe: Grenoble, NOVA, Cass
Further for a better evaluation of your profile, I would suggest you take the free profile evaluation this would let you know about your strengths and schools you can target.
