In all honesty, I'm not sure why you are retaking the GMAT. I get the idea of scoring higher but for you, as you noted, the essays are everything at this point. On paper, you have a good shot at these top schools (though not a guarantee at all) and you have to ace your personal statements. The key is defining your brand and highlighting your accomplishments in the clearest and most cohesive manner.
It's hard to evaluate the relative strength of your essays without seeing them. As you know, there's a limit to what we can do in these forums. Therefore, I strongly advise you get in touch with my team if you think professional help could be the difference between getting acceptances and waitlists/denials. Besides hourly support, we also offer "gut checks" where one of our consultants can give your overall application (including essays) and overall review and point out areas on which to improve.
