Properties listed toward the edges of a page in real estate directories tend to sell better than those whose listings are surrounded by more text. The owner of a house that was in a highly sought-after neighborhood and that had been on the market for nine months recently complained to her realtor that it would have been sold already had it appeared more prominently in real estate listings. The only piece of evidence among the answer choices that would fail to support her claim, if true, is that ___________________.
Which of the following best completes the passage?
A: the house has received consistently favorable ratings and reviews from appraisers.
B: in the last year, four houses on the same street as this one sold within a month of being listed.
C: real estate listings only give prominent placement to houses that have already attracted potential buyers.
D: potential buyers usually have no particular property in mind, and are inclined to look at those whose listings catch their eye.
E: many houses that have failed to sell for several months sell quickly once they are listed more prominently.

Okai .. Im not too sure on this one but will go with C.
Here is my explanation:
In general the real estate companies give importance to house that have attracted buyers in past. Why?
because , if the property is already attracting buyers, highlighting them through their agency would make the agency some money and the house for sure will be sold .
Why the rental company dint put the current house in this category ? may be because there is some other problem with the house that dint inspire buyers confidence in the house.
So even if the house owner forces the rental agency to prominently highlight the house in their listings.. there is no or very less chance of the house getting sold.
This surely weakens the conclusion.
Please do post the OE. would be interesting to see
