I need some help on this one. Its quite easy but I think Im missing something.

Simply draw perpendicular lines to the base of the x line on the coordinate plane.....
For triangle PQR you have a point Q (8,4) and a new point lets say O (8,0) so the length of that perpendicular line would be 4.... have to substract x and y values..... (x_1 - x_2; y_1 - y_2)
The length of the base is also 4.... so the area of the triangular PQR is 8
Do the same for a larger LMN triangle and you will get the area of 72....
The answer 8/72 or 1/9....
