28 chips 100$ and 112 chips 20$
Let's x = the chips Mark bet.
10% of x is 100$ chips so 90% of x is 20$ chips
=> (140-x)*0.7=112-0.9*x
=> x=70
Total money Mark bet: 0.1x*100+0.9x*20= 1960$

value of $100 chips = 2800
value has been bet = 0.1 x * 100 x = total number of chips bet.

30% of (140-x) chips have value $100 means 0.3(140-x) * 100

thus, 2800 - 0.1x* 100 = 0.3(140-x) * 100

x = 70 chips

thus value $1960
