After 5', the hiker has travelled 5*4/60=1/3 mile while the cyclist has travelled 5*20/60=5/3 mile.
Thus, the cyclist has to wait
(4/3)/(4/60)=20'

The cyclist stops after 5 minutes of passing, meaning both individuals have traveled for 5 minutes since the passing.

Hiker's distance traveled since passing = 4 mph *5 min / 60 min per hour = 1/3 mile
Cyclist's distance traveled since passing = 20 mph * 5 min / 60 min per hour = 5/3 mile

Distance hiker needs to travel to catch up = 5/3 - 1/3 = 4/3 mile
Time to travel distance = 4/3 mile / 4 mph = 1/3 hour = 20 min
