I got very generic feedback. So it was not useful at all. It was a little annoying as you cannot tell if it's the gmat score or the essays or the career progress etc.
However, my opinion is that getting into the Weekend program at GSB is more difficult compared to getting into the evening MBA at GSB. In the former, you are competing for around 100 seats/ year against applicants from practically all over the US. On the other hand, for the evening MBA, there are 100 seats available per quarter with the student group limited to the Greater chicago area(which is large, but they have 400 seats available).
Anyway, that's my guess. One thing I will say; the GSB folks are truly fantastic in terms of how they assist you during the application process. It's too bad that they didn't tell me specific reasons. But, I am sure that have their reasons.
I have gotten into the Mccombs PT-MBA program. I am also applying to the Saturday MBA at Kellogg.
Where are you applying?
