Yes, from this point of view Purdue is better. Thank you guys for contribution into my decision -making :-D

Whatever degree you hold should be of little consequence by the time you reach Director level. Your degree will be critically important for the first job you get after school, and perhaps if you change jobs within 3-5 years, but after that point your professional future will be determined by your performance on the job.

You should probably base your decision on whichever school will help you the most in landing your first job, and if you think you might change professions after a few years.


I agree 100%. Plus I think you should read the following post:

I'd say that apart from Purdue or Penn or whatever you'll need lots of other things to get there.
