To what extent does a candidates already acquired masters degree (MSc Accounting & Finance) affects his or her chances of pursuing an MBA in a top business school?
Some say that if you already have a masters degree, your chances of getting an admission to a top B-school is slim to none. How true is this? Do you have an equal chance as those who haven't done any masters?
Hi Kay031760,
"Do you have an equal chance..." -
Generically & statistically speaking, you have a lower chance.
Specifically speaking however, if you are able to demonstrate a good reason, and align your story with these through your interests, you would even have a higher chance than a regular non-masters profile without a strong story.
There is a reason why we consistently harp on the importance of a good story to align with your application.
