Hi Everyone,
Hope you are ROCKING!
The intention of creating this thread is to help the MBA Community with the most critical part of the Applications- SHORT TERM LONG TERM GOALS.
PLEASE POST YOUR GOALS IN THIS THREAD- and I WILL HELP YOU SEE YOUR HANDICAPS/BLIND SPOTS.
Working with you for 10 years now, I LEARNT ONE THING ABOUT HUMAN BEINGS VERY CLEARLY- AND I LEARNT IT FROM YOU- “Gaining acceptance is more important than REALLY EXPLORING THE INHERENT VALUE OF AN MBA PROGRAM” And most of us are ready to pay $150,000 without genuinely enquiring “How will the program add value to our personal and professional lives?”
People do more due-diligence before buying an automobile than before buying an MBA Service worth 10 times the price.
There are very clear GAPS in HOW You THINK!!
When I talk about your gaps, I am not referring to your choice of future industry and functions. Even though some of you go wrong in that too, but the majority fails to capture , “WHO WILL YOU BE AS YOU STEP INTO THE FUTURE – What will your way of BEING BE?” + “HOW WILL THE SCHOOL HELP YOU IN BECOMING THAT PERSON WHO WILL LIVE THAT ROLE VERY EFFECTIVELY”
All the GMAT 770’s 780’s reading this thread – “What will your WAY OF BEING BE” is a HORRIBLE GMAT Sentence Correction – Ignore it- I don’t care about it in this thread- I want you to focus on what I am trying to convey here.
PLEASE POST YOUR GOALS IN THIS THREAD- and I WILL HELP YOU SEE YOUR HANDICAPS/BLIND SPOTS.
As an outcome of this exercise, you should clearly be able to see-
A. What will it take to be that person/professional you want to be in 2024?( Not just that Designation in that Industry and function- Not deep enough for top Schools)
B. And how will an MBA Help?
Imp: I have worked primarily with Indians settled across the world( 70% India, 30% International locations), and my competency is very well suited for this particular demographic. I am not suggesting that I have any biases or an inclination to limit myself, I am just sharing that the best representation of my work for the last 10 years has been with applicants only from the Indian origin. This demographic is so widely spread across the world, it kept me occupied.
