QS counsellors team on a racial rant through this supposedly funny vid

QS counsellors team on a racial rant through this supposedly funny vid [#permalink] New post   13 Jun 2019, 05:26
Hey guys. I confess that i had registered for one of QS' apply2020 events which i later realised had nothing to do with my goals or research but had a lot to do with QS' paid clients who were taking these events. They even had the audacity of putting some of those clients on their featured videos. You know its funny when someone answers "weather" to a question of "why study in southern california?". Pathetic sessions, pathetic schools, and really bad experience, I am sure I will now be spammed by thousands of admissions agents who got my data from QS because I signed up for these sessions. :x :x :x

The reason I am posting here is to actually highlight a "funnY" video that the QS counselling team has put up. Inside this video, they have used every possible racial bias to apparently show what not to do at an interview. GMATClub has way more and better quality content and I regret even watching this video. At the end, a guy comes rapping and scaring the **** out of anyone saying "if you are one of these people in the interview, you may be in the next video". I closed the video right away and lost 5 pounds weight.

In the video, they have called Italians "confused", Indians "story tellers", and some other types of students as "robots" or "arrogant". Personality biases galore here mate!. Somehow QS management thought this was good enough to be put out anyway. What a way to boost our confidence, and contribute to our well being.

View this video and make your own judgements. I am scarred already :hurt: (not only because there was an MVRS lookalike at the end, sans the hip hop), and I think as a community we should all ask QS not to release such videos ever again. really BAD stuff. :mad: :mad: :mad:

Guys, just an update from me on this. I was following the QS Apply 2020 feed across their social media channels, and it seems the QS people taking the interviews for these panels are their sales people!!!! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

Atleast the likes of poetsandquants have the decency to send good old John Byrne to go and record the sessions. QS is sending their sales fellows. What a charade and a cheating set of events. BTW, my phone hasn't stopped ringing ever since I registered for one of their Apply 2020 events. Even after i told them not to call me, the calls don't stop. QS is like a data trafficker. :x :x :x :x

Check out the guy interviewing the panel. some random sales guy who hasn't even gone to a business school. I checked his online profile and its very shady. he seems to have become a VP from a Director!! :dazed :dazed

It's a jungle out there!! :-D :-D :-D :lol: :lol:

You have to listen to this joker man. :-D I know, I know, I said I was scarred by the whole process, but this guy from QS talking to the panel is hillarious

I was listening to one of the so called "on demand" live casts :roll: and he says things like (and i kid you not) "MBA kind of relies on the previous work experience for the classroom learning". WTF? I am sure Chicago booth didn't expect me to really use my previous work experience as a mountain climber inside the classroom!!! You moron, you!! And then he has the stupidity of asking " would you say the MiM is more team based, and functional?" !!! Again....WTF??? Blew my mind :lol:

And the context is (again I kid you not) "what on earth is a Master's in management?". Is that how low IQ people start asking about MiM programs? Not really, we don't sir. :x

Such amazing samples of human excrement people are acting as if they have already been there and done that, and I see business school team members sitting next to such a guy and nod?? what a shame!

A couple of more updates from me friends. I am really beginning to "hate" the way these guys are getting away with such nonsense under the garb of helping us. They don't care about us even a bit. All these idiots want is to make money, and they are resorting to racist chants, profiling, and what not to get to the end. :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x

File comment: Another borderline racist commentary from the same set of people. What does one mean by "INDIAN STUDENTS"??? People applying from India are not students... A lot of us have serious work experience from companies that will not shred your CVs your idiots. You have made a joke on us "INDIAN" students!!! Also, why are we so different that you have to tell us separately about studying in the US? The "rich, white, British Male" syndrome is it?
