Hi Rich,
Appreciate the feedback! As far as my studies are concerned:
1. I took the test 3 times in 2017. I studied for about a couple months before the first attempt and maybe 6 weeks or so for each subsequent attempt. After that I put off my MBA plans due to other personal commitments. I recently took the test on Feb 13, and I revised things for about a month, resulting in the 670 (highest score thus far).
2. For study materials, I've used Veritas for my most recent attempt. I gave all their mocks. When I I took the test in 2017, I primarily used
Manhattan GMAT materials. I also gave just the verbal portion of their mocks.
3. In the Veritas practice tests, I've been getting between a 640-680. My verbal scores were between 34-39. My quant scores ranged from 43-47. In the Manhattan mocks, my verbal scores ranged from 35-37 since I only gave that portion of the exam. I've also taken the 6 official GMAC exams. I've gotten between 680 and 760 on them. My verbal scores ranged from a 35-42. My quant scores have ranged from 46-50.
In general, my verbal ability is pretty good, and I mainly use official questions to practice. For quant, I know most of the concepts, but I just need drilling. There are lots of resources out there for quant, but I just want to be focused on 1 or 2 of them for about 6-8 weeks. The official questions in the OGs are a bit too easy in my opinion, so I've tried
TargetTestPrep for a little but haven't really completed the program since it's lengthy. I've tried a few
GMATClub tests, etc.
Thanks!
