After three months of studying, I still need to improve my quant score fairly significantly. I'm improving at getting to the correct answer; however, my speed is still too slow. I'd like to get some thoughts and hopefully experiences on various quant-focused programs out there:

Here are the ones I'm considering:

1. Veritas Prep GMAT Quant Focus
Details/Duration: LIVE CLASS/ONE WEEKEND

2. Kaplan GMAT Math Intensive
Details/Duration: ONLINE/SIX WEEKS AND 12 SESSIONS

2. Kaplan GMAT Advanced (obviously not as quant focused as the other two but another option)
Details/Duration: LIVE OR ONLINE/SIX WEEKS AND 12 SESSIONS

They have pretty good quant only course and pretty cheap too...

Thanks... I had reviewed all those. I was looking for something specific on the courses I referenced since they're a little different than the standard versions. In particular, the weekend quant class from Veritas. Just trying to determine if I would get much out of it to justify the $800.

I guess knewton is much lower in price though they dont offer quant only and gmaxonline is around $299 for quant only.

I am taking veritas-only verbal though. But I am using all their material for quant. Their material is pretty good. I am going to attend couple of their math classes in coming 2-3 weeks. I will let you know.

Hi Giese

The Kaplan Math Intensive course is our regular 9-session class, with a few differences. First, the class includes 2 hours of one-on-one tutoring with your instructor. More importantly, however, it is preceded by three special math lessons. These lessons are designed to work from the ground up with basic concepts, to ensure the math-intensive students are up to speed on their fundamentals.

If you've already spent time studying for the Quant section, you might find that the GMAT Math Intensive feels a little slow for you--especially if you're score-qualified for our advanced course. But you'll still get plenty of math with the regular or advanced Kaplan course. Plus, we've got a lot of customizable quizzes and optional assignments; you should have no trouble making the class as math-focused as you want!
