The definitive thread!
Running through the practice sets in OG11 for Quant, I seem to do very well. However, when doing the MGMAT practice tests, I seem to really struggle. It seems the questions are insanely more difficult than the OG11.
My question to everyone is how accurate are the OG11 quant questions? I know the OG uses actual GMAT questions from previous tests, and MGMAT is known for more difficult questions, but I'm trying gauge just where I'm at on the actual exam. I know terp is going through the same thing.
So, what are your thoughts?

Hey Omne,
Check out nognig's thread today. It really gave me a lot of relief. My last MGMAT Quant score was 44, and my last 2-3 GMATPrep's have been 46. nognig never broke 44 on the MGMAT CATs, but he took the real thing today and got a 47. I think GMATPrep is a fairly accurate indicator of what you can expect - OG problems are a bit too easy in my opinion. MGMAT's problems take far too long to solve and are too algebra/equation oriented in nature - They're great practice but not an accurate score indication.
With 9 days left before my G-Day, I'm just going to shoot for 47-48 on the real thing, and hopefully somewhere between 42-45 on Verbal.

MGMAT quant isn't just harder, it's much more complicated. I read a post in another forum from a MGMAT rep who said that some of their questions take too many steps to solve, more than you'd have time to do on the real test. They're apparently going to remove them from the next iteration of their tests, but for now, if you see a brutally hard MGMAT quant question, you might as well guess and move on if you can't solve it in a reasonable amount of time.
