Hi there!
I’m guessing you’ve already taken your test, and I hope it went well! I imagine that others are interested in free study material for the Quant section of the GMAT Focus, too.
A few resources I’d recommend:
-Yes, the Official Guide is a great resource (though not free)! If you have an older, pre-Focus version, for Quant, the main thing to be aware of is that there are no longer Geometry questions, and Data Sufficiency problems have moved to the Data Insights question. Otherwise, the Quant problems in even an older OG will still give you great practice for the skills needed on the GMAT Focus. That said, if you have access to an up-to-date Official Guide, it’s worth using that instead!
-Definitely use the free question bank and two free practice tests on the MBA website! Those, along with an up-to-date Official Guide, will give you the most realistic sense of what’s on the test.
That said, many students tend to benefit from additional support, since there are often alternative ways of approaching the problems in the Official Guide that are faster and easier than the solutions presented.
Manhattan Prep offers a Free GMAT Starter Kit that includes 100+ problems with solutions written by our teachers — that will give you a good sense of the alternative methodologies out there! The starter kit also provides a free download of
Manhattan Prep’s Foundations of Math ebook, as well as a Foundations of Math module and lots of practice!
Happy studying!
