Apologies if this has already been addressed in another thread, but I was wondering if anyone has a view on whether the GMAT ascribes a disproportionate weighting to any of the quant problem types.
Given the sheer volume of quant material covered on the exam, this information would be a great help in prioritising the subjects most likely to appear.
Based on my (admittedly limited) exposure, I would say that Number Properties and Geometry seem to come up more frequently than other question types. Any thoughts?

I haven't heard of any evidence for weighting of questions based on the topic. Here's a merged thread (oldie but goodie) with different thoughts on GMAT Scoring Algorithm:
