Thanks for the comments.

Well, on test day I got Q49 and V39 giving me a total of 720. Wasn't too pleased with the verbal score, seeing as I had got V40 during my first GMAT attempt and actually studied for verbal this time considering I hardly studied verbal at all last time. However, overall I was quite pleased with my results. This came from a Q28 V40 (570) back in March!

I really think the GMAT club tests really helped as I started doing them over the final week and got a kind of "guessing strategy" tha seemed to work for me.

For the Quant part, I did guess some questions when I felt time was slipping away from me. Also for other questions - as soon as I made a mistake and knew I would have to go back and "re-do" the question, I also guessed.

Hi phferr1984,

That's outstanding news! With a 720/Q49, you've got a score that would make any Business School happy. Both a V39 and V40 are right around the 90th percentile for Verbal, so you shouldn't feel bad about not scoring a lot higher that that. I think that this outcome shows that you have the drive and capacity to improve and perform at a high level. If you bring that same attitude and energy to your applications, then I would bet that everything will turn out well.

GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
Rich
