Hi, Manhattan Study Guides are highly recommended here in the forum. Focus first on the content before you improve your speed. After studying the theories, you may proceed with solving OG questions.

HI!
thank you so much for the detailed explanation.
earlier I use to make notes in a register line by line while studying from the book and do some question as well however later on i felt that I am not going to read it as I used to end up writing so much and i did not use to read it(I use to think wish I had written the formulas in one pager format) as I had written a lot and as per the booking language and sometime i used to get lost as to why i have written this here and did i really understood the concept.
so if you were to make notes how would you make it(could you explain your way of taking notes), could you help me in that-what would be your way of taking notes so that later its only a reference point because knowing only theory will not help and lot lot lot practice is required.
I also feel that i read theory from a lot places because if i get a question wrong i feel that i did not understood the concept properly so I end up studying theory from many diff places and feel lost.

should OG be picked after all the topics of quants is over?

how many books should bee enough for learning the theory because the theory remains same only the strategies changes i.e geometry formulas will be the same in all the books.

Hi!

I would suggest you to first pick a topic which you are comfortable with maybe geometry, number system, algebra anything. Lets say you chose geometry,
1. Read the theory (you can read it from publication you are comfortable with could be the theory in OG or GMAT Club maths book or manhattan) but make sure to jot down all the concepts that you come across (by all the concepts I mean those points which you can quickly refer to)
2. Do not start solving with questions from OG. Start from problem solving from other "good" sources and filter for sub 600 problems and then gradually move to problem of higher difficulty and solving data sufficiency as well.

This would surely take time but it helps!
Once you are confident enough, you can then start solving from OG, OG helps you to understand the way GMAC can formulate a question and this would be helpful if you have a strong foundation.

Thanks!
:D
