hello everyone.
can anyone answer my query.
heres the thing.
i was only doing manhattan CAT past month and getting a Quant score in 30s with disappointing 40-50th percentile while my verbal score kept on increasing going from initial 60th percentile to 85th percentile.all this while i didn't do any verbal prep and concentrated on only quant.
2 weeks bk i gave a veritas CAT and to my surprise scored a 710 with Q48/V39.that was shocking since thnx to a bad quant score the max i was able to score in manhattan CAT was 640.dismissing it as a fluke i decided to continue with my plan of concentrating only on quant and gave another mgmat.this time my Quant score improved to Q41 but alas my verbal score fell down to V31.
i wasn't particularly upset by my verbal score since i had given it half heartedly with the memory of the difficult quant still lingering on my mind while i tackled verbal.but heres whats intriguing.today i again gave veritas CAT and scored Q48 which i am told is 83rd percentile.i am baffled tbh.this is the 3rd veritas CAT where i hv scored a Q48.three in a row.
so is the mgmat's quant a little too tough or is the veritas quant a little on the easier side?i would really like to know which one it is so that i can prepare accordingly.maths is definitely not my strong subject and i do feel theres a long way to go in it but the consistent low scores in mgmat are making me doubt myself.
