Query Regarding Name on ID Card

Question

Hi ,

My name on the official GMAT ID is Bharath Nandalal Mandhyan. But as per my driving license my name is Bharath N Mandhyan . Will this be a problem ?

What are you using as identification? For example, if you're using a passport, the name on your passport should be exactly the same as the one you registered with.

In India, only passport is valid form of identify proof.

Your name and DoB on passport should match the details you have entered while filling up the application form.

I'd recommend calling the testing center and asking them this question ahead of time.

I can tell you, anecdotally, that I was recently able to take the GRE without issue with a small mismatch between the name on my ID and the name I registered with (I registered using only a middle initial instead of my full middle name). I would hope the GMAT would be the same, but the best way to know would be to call the testing center well in advance.
