Hi
yuniieI see dilemma in the situation and rightly so.
Lets weigh the pros and cons.
What is it that
YOU will INVEST when you take the test?
Time, energy, money, the attempt and above all the "confidence" in yourself !Is a 710 on mocks attempt worth all this when you are targeting a 740 on the real GMAT?
GMAT is a test of strategy. Lets think this way-
Losing the two weeks of prep vs losing an attempt and all the other variables I mentioned- Clearly, pushing the date is a wiser option. But, hold on!
Lets analyze a little more-
From the inputs you have provided, I understand that you are yet to complete the OG. Once you complete the OG and may be the Advanced doc if you have the time, you will be able to see the difference of your approaches on the harder questions!
Scoring around Q50 on mocks with V40+ consistently will give you the confidence you need for the test.
Between Jan-June of 2023, please ask yourself the right questions and see if its possible to study undistracted for just 45-60min everyday for even 4 days a week. A day of verbal and a day of Quant or the vice versa.
With a 710 on the official mocks, you just need to ensure that you don't lose momentum. The knowledge basket is at place. Its all about application now.
Do you think that is possible?
If its a YES, then push the date.
Plan for the Jan-June window and once you are free then for
July and Aug,plan for a intensive revision and test taking schedules.
I think someone who can score a 710, has the potential to score a 750.
You have the potential. Just plan strategically and sharply. Make your plan granular.
You will make it then
Let me know if there are any questions!
