Hi applebus,

Your performance in the Verbal section is going to be impacted by a variety of factors on Test Day, so it's important that you make your practice as realistic as possible.

1) What is your goal score?
2) How have you been scoring on your practice CATs?
3) Do you take the ENTIRE CAT each time (including the Essay and IR sections)?

Your pacing problem is actually based on OTHER problems. It can be 'fixed', but you have to fix OTHER things first.

1) How long have you been studying?
2) What resources have you been using?
3) When are you planning to take the GMAT?

Hi Rich,

1. I target at 680
2. I get score around 650-660 on GMAT Prep and other CAT is 640-690
3. I never take the whole exam. I always skip IR but I do essay.

I plan to take GMAT next month. In math, I do not have any problem. I often get 49-50. I know there is a room to improve. Most of the incorrect answer comes from my carelessness.

Back to Verbal

I use Verbal manhantan in all sections. and one more CR book. I did not remember the name of CR book but it is rated to be the most popular book in Gmatclub.
So one more question. :-D
if I answer 6-10 questions in 1 minute, is it okay? may be the GMAT know about that. I would like to take a lot of time doing question 1-10

Hi applebus,

From what you've described, you have NOT taken any FULL CATs in a realistic and test-like fashion, so these score results are not completely accurate. As such, you really should take a FULL CAT (including the essay and IR sections) sometime soon, so that we can get a better sense of your overall strengths and weaknesses. Once you have those results, you should post back here and we can talk about what you can do to improve.
