Hi,
I'm currently a senior undergraduate accounting major graduating after the current Spring 2010 semester. I was recently told by Baruch College that they will not be giving me a decision until they receive my final transcript indicating that I received my bachelor's degree. This would mean that I effectively won't know until after I have already graduated. I thought that if anything, they would give me a conditional acceptance based on maintaining my grades and/or receiving my degree. Between waiting until the end of the application process to be considered and their guaranteed acceptance of Baruch undergraduate accounting majors who have a certain GPA and GMAT score/percentiles, it's kind of got me bummed out because it's the main school that I want to attend.
I was wondering if this is standard practice amongst many schools? The school I am currently attending has been giving out early decisions to current undergraduates since last semester.
Also, if anybody else who is a current undergraduate has heard back from Baruch, could you please let me know whether you got a similar reply or otherwise? Thank you.
