New post 17 Sep 2008, 11:15
i am just done with all the OG including the supplement for quant and verbal.
and would be starting with the CAT's.

wanted to know if the following would give me enough practice,

-GMATPrep
-Veritas CAT
-800 score
-Arco
-Gmatclub challenges

any suggestions from people especially those who have given 800score,arco and veritas test , as to how these tests are. don't want to waste time on them if they are not useful.
I dont hear much about them on the forum so was concerned as to how they are overall.

Another question I have is i am looking for a score of around 680, so what score on CAT's would be an indicative that 680 is my reach on the final gmat.

Thanks in advance

-Jack

Generally, the GMATPrep software most closely correlates to the score on the actual test. (Though it's obviously not 100 percent perfect, especially if you go through them more than once)

I can't speak to the other materials but if you search the boards a bit you should be able to find some info about all of the sources you listed.

Yes, do the GMATPrep tests. They're the best ones. The next best ones are the Princeton Review tests. They are adaptive like the real test. ONLY do adaptive tests!!

Most people say the 800score tests are bad, and I haven't seen anyone recommend the Arco tests. I don't know if the Veritas tests are adaptive.

The GMATClub challenges are supposed to be great.
