Hello All - My test is in a little less than a week. Over the course of a few months, I've studied nightly to get myself into gear. I've taken 5 full practice tests. My score is now averaging on both Kaplan and the GMATPrep software at 690 over the last 3. I have an odd question about scoring however. My most recent score via Kaplan's practice test, was a 48 Quantitative (74th percentile) and 42 Verbal (96th percentile), which got me a 690. I'm confused however in looking at scoring grids online. A few, if I'm reading them correctly, state that a 48 quant and a 42 verbal would yield a 720. What is the cause for the difference?
Lastly, are Kaplan's tests thought to be good predictors? I feel like I'm struggling through these tests but am pleasantly surprised with the score. That said, I'm getting many questions incorrect!
