Friends, i have heard many people say that you dont need to answer all questions corectly to get a high score in the 700+ range.

Is it possible to get a very high score and get some questions wrong?. Which questions make up high score?.Its a bit confusing to me since i feel that a high score on the GMAT is directly related to answering all questions right.

I don't think what you say is correct as questions have weights.
For example, you will score higher by answering 30 hard questions correct rather than by answering 32 easy questions...

So how do i know the questions carrying higher marks.Is there a trick to know which questions to focus on in order to get a high score.Many people have sent in posts here saying that they got 750 or 720 and they are sure they did not answer all questions correctly. Somebody even said that he is sure he guessed on 4 questions and he was surprised to get 750....

No.

You can have 50% of the problems correct and score a 700+, you can have 50% of the problems correct and score a 500.
