Greetings,
I'm new to the board and to the GMAT study experience. I was hoping someone might have a minute or two to answer a few of my questions set forth below. I apologize if this info is contained elsewhere in the forums but I'm really tight on time (see my first question):
1. My current job requires me to work crazy hours, so I have little time for studying. Unfortunately, I have to take the test in July, so I'm stuck with a short timeframe to study before the test. What materials should I be looking at? I've order the official guide, Kaplan800 and the Manhattan guide to Sentence Correction (my worst section based on the one practice test I took). I definitely won't have time to get through all of them - which would you suggest I focus on? Any other test prep resources I should be looking at?
2. I downloaded a practice test (#14) from the mba.com website and got a 660. I know that the old written exams are different from the current computer tests. How well does that 660 translate?
3. There's a chance I could push back my test date into August. It would involve certain sacrifices that I'd rather not make but I don't want to hurt my GMAT score by understudying. So I guess my question is this - am I an idiot for rushing into this?
Thanks in advance for your help. I really appreciate it.
