I was about to submit my Part 1 today (I know I am cutting it close) but I decided to preview each page with their button one last time. Looking at the resume portion it only allows half the width to be used and that added a few lines to my information and actually cut things off. It deleted to lines that show up on the application screen but didnt show up on the PDF...anyone else notice this problem? I am paranoid since now I have to rework all my resume stuff to make sure it fits.

The resume is in Part 2, unless I completely missed that step. Are you talking about the area where we input work experience and extra curriculars? I didn't check the pdf, I just triple checked the entries. It is probably similar to HBS' issue where the pdf doesn't show everything, they reassured us that the adcom printout will show everything you entered.

No the work part where you list your jobs and responsibilities. Its the 4th page. I just dont want someone to forget to preview it since from what I read it depends on your screen width what you can enter there but its all stardard on the preview.

riverripper, take a look for another thing I found in Kellogg application - when you preview pdf, my mark for "male" is not shown. If put "female" everything works fine. Is it the same for everyone? Anyway, there is a notice * this data could be kept non-disclosed :)

I do get the male to show up.

I am wondering if my responsibilites should be past tense or present tense. I personally think that present seems right since those are responsibilities of those jobs and they are still the same.

I do present tense for my current job and past tense for my previous job.

I had no problems with my PDF--do you have an older version of Acrobat?

Aha, the problem could be here, I installed Acrobat Reader 6.0 to work with some pdf that wasn't working with the latest version (the password-encrypted manual) and didn't pay attention to it as far as I use FoxIt Reader for viewing pdf and Acrobat is needed only for web pdfs.
