It's not necessary. The background check will cover your experience at the time of the application, including the interview. Since you are in, it won't matter what you do between now and matriculation. Go enjoy your acceptance - congrats!

No, that is not a requirement. For the credential verification, you just need to have been employed with your employer for the durations and dates mentioned to CMU in the application. Leaving the role after you get the admit (in fact, even after you apply) is your prerogative.
