G _ _ R _ P If you observe : No. of steps required to reach Pink mark = 2 (Two steps right) = 4 (One step left and 3 steps right) = 6 (Two steps left and 4 steps right) and so on...considering alternate left and right we can further the count
Similarly No. of steps required to reach Green mark = 3 (Three steps left) = 5 (1 right and 4 left) and so on...considering alternate right and left we can further the count
Thus from observation:- If total number of steps is even then destination is Pink. If odd then Green
Statement 1: He stops after 21 coin tosses.
Odd = Green. Hence suff
Statement 2 : He obtains three more heads than tails
T+3 = H Total no of tosses will be = H(no. of heads) + T(no. of tails) Total no. of tosses = 2T + 3 2T = even number 3 = odd number Even num + odd num = odd num Odd = Green. Hence suff
