I'd choose a number which is a multiple of both 2 and 3: we have 1/2 and 2/3 mentioned in the stem.
Say the capacity is 6 liters:
At 5 pm. 3 liters are left.
At 6:30 pm 2 liters are left.
Regular consumption 1 liter in 1.5 hours.
Tripled consumption 3 liters in 1.5 hours, or 3/1.5=2 liters per hour.
At 6:30 pm, when the happy hour starts, 2 liters are left, hence at the rate of 2 liters per hour 1 "happy" hour is needed to empty the keg.
Answer: A.

I’m confused :/
So the rate of consumption is 1/6 litre per hour. Meaning during happy hours it’ll be 1/2 litre per hour.
Now right before the happy hour starts, only 1/3 litre is left in the keg, all of which should be consumed within that hour because the rate of consumption is higher than the amount left. So shouldn’t the answer be A? Please help in clarifying this!
