Can somebody advise me what to make of Kaplan CAT? I have been taking MGMAT CATs and consistently scoring 650 and higher but today I took Kaplan CAT on their CD but ended up at 520. I found it extremely difficult and completely guessed the last 10 questions. Is Kaplan CAT close to the real GMAT or harder?
I also took an untimed test with PR and scored 730 but when I timed it, my score went to 640 and 560. So I am not sure what to make of it.
Also, my Kaplan CD did'nt explain answers for its CAT. Is it because I skipped essays?
I have only one month left for my exam and I am targetting 700. Is it achievable?

Kaplan is well known for the harder tests that result into a lot of concerns with the test takers. Also, some of the member on the forum expressed minor concerns about the wording and relevancy of some of the questions. In my opinion, they are pretty good but there are many opinions.
Their scores are not representative of the real test results. I would say you can add 50-100 to the Kaplan score, in my case, I never scored more than 620 or 640 on the Kaplan test.

No, I have not taken GMAT Prep yet. I want to take it after I finish all my other CATs. I still have one PR, three Kaplan, and two MGMAT left. What was your final score?
