Not sure how to set this question up:

A type of candy comes in two flavors, sweet and sour, and in tow colors, yellow and green. The color and flavor of the individual peices of candy are not related. If in a certain box of this candy 1/4 of the yellow pieces and 5/7 of the green pieces are sour, what is the ratio of the number of yellow pieces to the number of green pieces in the box?
(1) In the box, the number of sweet yellow pieces is equal to the number of sour green pieces.
(2) In the box, the number of green pieces is two less than the number of yellow pieces.

Since there are only two flavors and two colors,
1x/4 yellow sour tells that 3x/4 are yellow sweet
5z/7 green sour tells that 2z/7 are green sweet
Q asks for x/z
S1: no. of sweet yellow = sour green
3x/4=5z/7
x/z=4*5/7*3=20/21 suff
Hence ans A or D
S2:z=x+2 insuff
So A?
