Although it's nice to have made a 700 (Q47, V40), I'm seeing a lot of other folks post raw scores such as Q45/V40 and Q47/V39 and got 700s overall; someone posted a Q45/V38 and got a 680; and lastly, someone with my same raw scores of Q47/V40 got a 710!!!
Do these raw to overall score discrepancies have anything to do with the difficulty level of questions correctly/incorrectly answered? Someone made a comment in one of the threads that it has to do with raw score rounding, but I seriously doubt that can be the only factor.
Or is the GMAC scoring algorithm flaky?!

The thing I have learned is, it doesn't matter because you cannot change it. GMAC is the judge and jury here, there's no appeal process.

Here is a slightly outdated document, but it may help for your cause. The idea was to crack the algorithm that GMAC uses for relationship between raw scores and final. Anybody wants to do it?
