Hi desertEagle.

Are you doing all your RC practice timed? If so, your solution may be to let the time per question slide for now and focus on accuracy. You can take all the time you need per passage to get 100 percent of the questions correct. Then, once you're normally achieving 100 percent accuracy, you can work on pace.

To get to 100 percent accuracy, any time you miss a question, identify why you missed it. Then, address that issue. If the issue is an execution issue, when you answer similar questions, keep that issue in mind and don't make the same mistake.

For some tips on how to practice verbal for best results, see this post.

Three Key Practice Tips for Mastering GMAT Verbal

For some ideas you can use to improve accuracy and reduce the number of careless errors you make, see this one.

Improving Your Accuracy on the GMAT
HI

I tried giving more time to questions in which i was having problems. But i couldnt get them right even if i have given 5 mins. But once i know what the answer is, i can easily identify why its right and why my answer is wrong.

Any suggestion where i might be going wrong?
Thanks

It sounds as if the way you're supporting your choices may be too gimmicky and not sufficiently based on careful analysis of the passage and what it supports.

I mean, maybe you are trying to take some kind of shortcuts or overemphasizing keywords. Also, are you looking for choices whose wording matches the passage or choices that are truly supported by the passage?

To determine what's going wrong, you could check your answer to each question right after you answer it so that how you went about answering it is still fresh in your mind and you can figure out what you're doing that's not working.
