From what I've learned so far, RC question on the GMAT will go 2-3 questions for the short passage and 3-4 for the long passage.
As I go through the problems in the OG, I noticed that most passages have actually more questions. I just completed a long passage that had 9 questions. From what I have learned through
MGMAT, I should spend 2-3 minutes for short and 3-4 for long passages. For general questions 60 seconds and for specific questions 90 seconds.
The long passage that had 9 questions had only one main idea question, 5 supporting idea questions, 2 inference questions and one logical structure question. It took me almost 15 minutes to finish the passage and it seems to me too long. I read it in 4 minutes, and for the 9 questions it took me a little less than 11 minutes. Every time I get so many questions in a passage I feel I tend to rush because I always time myself. Could I get some advice please?
One more thing, how many RC questions should I expect on the actual test? Thanks a lot!
